As the world rotates and the Wheel of the Year turns, so do our seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter.
The dark starry winter's night with frosty grass, snowflakesand robins melts into spring. Seeds buried in the earth send fingers of white roots into the thawed soil and green shoots rush towards the warm skies. Swallows return, the sun rises high above us and trees and plants wear their green robes. Crops ripen in the blaze of sunshine ready for harvest. All is gathered in as autumn crispness turns leaves to golden orange and red. Then slowly all dies back, the days shorten and winter returns, to complete the cycle yet again.
